I will third all of the complaints also have a question what if your Australian but playing on a na server ?

Depends what type of account you have, not where you play. When you set up your account originally it would have asked you where you were located, if you chose somewhere in NA, you'd have an NA account, JP, JP account. If you choose nearly anywhere else in the world it makes you an EU account, which only makes this campaign even more insane when you think about it.
