We need longer hairstyles

I for one would love some longer hair. I try to make my characters like me in real life but there is no hair that is even close to the length I have. The longest one I have tried clips way to much with my armor though. So we would need some better physics options with that longer hair. While I would greatly appreciate this I just don't see that happening.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: (described as using a scaled-down "branch" of Luminous, optimized for high numbers of player-character actors on screen simultaneously)

So in other Words, all they had to do is update parts of it (Which they probably have done so far looking at the DX11 Features) and add some Realtime Hair Physics.
This would result that Hair is not simply going through Clothing anymore yet rather would find it's own way.

In case someone didn't knew, FFXV is using Luminous Engine too, yet it is far more Updated.

I think another reason might be because the hair probably won't move as much as you would like it to, which would look bad on MNK, DRG and NIN.

The longer ones we currently have already move veeery awkwardly IMO. Like that one with the hairband.

I mean, it's a bit better than in WoW, where the hair was just completely glued to your back and wouldn't move one bit no matter what you did and instead, had the part near the neck stretch and bend, but...ugh.

I like long hair too, but this game has a serious problem with clipping, even on short or mid-long hair.

Need fix this first, before add longer hairstyles.

I'm just glad we don't have horrifying hair physics like in DoA, where each piece of hair would crawl up and over the character's shoulder like it was a snake or something. o.o

Long hair is gonna clip, I don't know how many generations of gaming we're going to go through before it's ever fixed, right now it's just a fact. I don't even have to worry about armour because although I love my char using either of the two female Roegadyn exclusive long hairstyles, they clip... with my boobs. No big collars required!




From the back, it's a similar length to many of the longest hairstyles currently available.
