I mean, we can buy a DoW or DoM grade V materia from a weekly reward item. Why not just make the moogle vendor sell all DoW/DoL grade Vs for 30 kupo nuts or something? I guarantee the MB price will not tank and itll give ppl a reason to keep doing the quests after Bloodsworn.

LIES!!! Not only can we not get grade V materia from turning in quests but they didnt even give us an alternative. So atm the ONLY way to get grade V DoH and DoL materias is from getting lucky on the cyclops in Aquapolis and also from spiritbining and converting high lvl DoH/DoL gear. Sad day.

They were referring to the materia you can get from the rank up quests, not the dailies.

I think its more of a mis translation. As you get the grade V materia from the rank up quests if youre 60 or not. I noticed in the digest of this very same letter that this part was quite different.

Yeah, I somehow missed a day even though I was diligent on my part, but that part sounds like you'll be reward for doing those quests like with Vath and Vanu Vanu where if you are at 60 you gain Tomes instead of EXP. I was expecting some Materia aside from the Rank Up Quests once we hit max.

I stopped reading all moogle quests after rank 3, even up to that point I had to force myself.

I am still hateful of the moogles after all those fetch quests and didn't have a single care about anything they had to say to me. I just wanted to grab them by the pom and toss them over any edge I could find.

I have played 1-14 as well as all the non numbered and sequel final fantasy games and never in that whole time have I had anything but adoration for my lil kupos.

So thanks dev team for destroying moogles for me >< These quests did nothing to repair that damage you did.

People must have a lot of willpower to hold grudges for that long! I found it refreshing to see most moogles in the quests actually putting in effort in the rebuild and how you can get the others to fall in line if the quest calls for it. At least the dev team did listen to our moogle hatred and tried to make them redeemable.

The Bloodsworn quests generally don't give any noteworthy rewards, as the Sworn rank is considered the last one. Bloodsworn is probably just there to act similar to the Allied rank with the 2.x beast tribes, as part of an Allied Beast Tribe quest (a quest involving all 3.x beast tribes) near the end of the expansion.

To add on to this:

The bloodsworn quest is usually just a follow up that acts as a sort of epilogue to everything that happened, they're all just something to the extent of "we're more or less fine, you're our friend forever, now piss off."
