What happened to the Free Company alliance system?

They would definitely need to get better servers or else it would crash way to easily by overload in a single area. I would love to see this though. People have been clamoring for dangerous pve environments and this could take care of that. This game would be ten times more fun if it was implemented well.

Would also be ten times more fun if we could use the alliance feature freely instead of only for certain things....But alas, it would probably put too much stress on the servers if we could...

They're actually referring to a proposed PVP system in the open world, where an FC who defeated a powered up roaming version of the primals were going to be able to take control of that primal for a short period. That FC would be the only one who had control over the primal in that time frame and could unleash them to use their super move (hellfire etc) upon the opposing player force.

But free company PVP went the way of the dual wield gladiator, along with the entire concept of free roaming primals and FCs capturing them.

Wait, I thought the only primal that we were going to be able to summon was Odin with a LB3, and that was if we defeated him.
