I want level boosts, I don't see it as a problem. I've had many a friend quit because they have to slog through the MSQ and the leveling process to get where I am to play— when they joined to play WITH me not catch up to me.

That's not how you keep a game going, that's how you slowly but surely kill it, bleeding it dry of any future interest from non-players with the more content that is added with every patch, until only the current player-base remains. People who say they'll leave if boost potions are added are simply upset that their "time" that they chose to spend playing is being devalued... But is it really?

Are those past experiences made worse by someone jumping to your level? Is the time you put into the game, the fun you had, the memories you've made with people really made pointless simply because someone was able to catch up with you with no effort? Is that thought even warranted... Logical even? No, it isn't.
