Will SE Develop Any Augmented Reality Apps for FFXIV?

I'm not a Pokemon fan, so I'm avoiding this whole Pokemon Go craze but I do find the Augmented Reality portion of this fascinating. More importantly it seems to have people moving, and being active and instead of sedentary.

Can SE develop anything similar to pair with FFXIV? If so, what? How?

I'm imagining something similar to PokemonGo where, by being active and exploring the real world, you can find certain usable items (anything ranging from powerful potions to treasure chests with gil or dragonskin maps) that will transfer to a designated character in game.

2 ideas for some ff14 augmented reality.

My favorite idea; the ability to take your retainer with you and play AR mini games as them to go on real life ventures.

Or Real life gathering points for miner botanist and fisher (I would totally level up fisher just for this)

lol SE cannot even get more creative than tomes and doing whatever WoW did, I highly doubt they could figure out how to make anything remotely close to Pgo. Plus they already use "limited staff" as an excuse to give us less and less interesting content, an app like that would just make matters worse.

That being said, Pokémon Go has been a hoot and no stinkin tomes to farm. It's 2pm and I wanna take a nap, been out hunting all morning.

Despite how fun Pokemon Go seems to be for people, there seems to be a rather threatening circumstance where people have risked being hurt on more than one occasion. People are already addicted enough to their phones to the point of doing nothing but stare at them as is. Further encouraging this to the point where any front of danger would kill them without much trouble is troubling enough.
