Big problem for me isn't the changes, it's the fact that the wards are bork'd and you can't actually GET the crafting gear you need.

Even worse, much of the lower level crafting gear has zero crafting stats associated with them. For example, the [item=8032002]Stained Chef's Apron[/item] has nothing but defense. Not even a point of piety or control, just defense. And there's a bunch of the crafting gear like this.
Shameless bump, sorry, this was already on page 5, and I'd really like a response from the development team acknowledging that this is working as intended or was a 'miss' in the update and will soon be corrected.
I'm adjusting to the gear requirements, but this is my biggest issue. Now I have to have multiple sets of gear for each crafting class I use, which is an issue given that we were just given more inventory slots. Now more of my inventory slots will be filled up with full sets of different tiers of gear. Hopefully the crafting item streamlining will allow me to make more space for items, but this ist he part that makes it rather difficult for me more than anything. The problem ends up multiplying it two, three, etcfold for each class one plays, as not all gear can be used by all classes and get the stat bonuses.
Oh well, I'll adjust.

I need to point it out to you that it's a "Cracked" version 2.0 that only give stat when upgraded into Vintage. It came with the November 2010 update, before that "Cracked" version 1.0 actually gave stats as good as normal even without upgraded to Vintage. Also, just because it favours/requires doesn't make it instantly Crafting gears.Even worse, much of the lower level crafting gear has zero crafting stats associated with them. There is another thread about this as well:

Still hoping for a dev response on either thread

It's harsh but not broken. I was using Veleteen at R15 WVR like a noob. I'm sure I wasn't the only one. They probably should tweak the yellow stats but leave red alone, noobs like me should use level appropriate gear.

These changes are absolute shit. I don't expect this game to live much longer.

I thought NM gear wasnt affected? I can put material onto my tricorne and it is not listed as "Dated", i get full stats from it on DoW, isnt Dodore not for Alch?

I've been hearing this since october of last year. If the game were to die it would have died by now -- Also it's not out on the PS3 yet, which means the game actually hasn't went into full service, so it actually can't "die".
