Please give me some examples where you'd need that.

Here are some scenarios I can think of:

    1. Solo playing against weak mobs: they don't hit you hard, so you wouldn't need the pushback for damage mitigation when DPSing.
    2. Solo playing against stronger mobs: you'd need the pushback for damage mitigation, so you'd switch CS off, pushback and heal while the mob is bound.
    3. Party playing against trash mobs: it would only help DPSing lesser mobs without driving your partners crazy.(copypasta )
    4. Party playing against bosses: no changes.

    1. (Unique) Interrupts.
    2. (Unique) Tossing.
    3. #1 or #2 while DPSing.

(In other words exactly what you'd expect.)

During solo play the push-back still helps. Hell, it's pretty great for tossing an enemy at the tank while unloading into it in dungeon or raid content as well, which until Savage—where your FA is saved for specific uses if able to push at all, and frequently is used where damage is the first priority, from everyone—is 90% spent dpsing.

I don't think limiting the pushback to when outside of Cleric Stance would especially worsen the ability; I just don't think it'd especially be a change for the better, and would personally slightly prefer the original form, just as I stated before.
