Weeping City of Mhach: Today was first time I not die against Forgall. Also without deaths against Ozma. But I continued dying a lot against Calofisteri x.x I still do not manage to decorate the mechanics there >.< After phase where she summons multiple Bijous and Small Bijous, my destiny seems always die. Well, lately I only enter as bard there. Then at least I to play a mp song for healers XD After try again, because still lack 1 gear for complete bard set.

There are 2 main things that can kill you against Calofisteri. The first is her Haircut ability, which hits the entire arena on one side of the boss (it's usually a half-room AoE, but that depends on boss positioning - I've seen her hit the entire room with it because the tank was tanking her sideways at one edge of the arena). This happens relatively quickly if you go by the "orange marker", but if you actually watch Calofisteri, she has a Tell for it: One of her hairs will turn into a giant blade several seconds before the AoE marker comes out. Get on the opposite side of her from the blade to avoid the AoE.

The second thing that can kill you against her are those things that trap players and cast Garrote. The trick to avoiding these is to stay away from both the orange AoE marker and the purple AoE that gets left afterwards. Away as in at least the half the width of the orange marker or the full width of the purple one away, because if you're closer than that someone else standing in them will get you trapped as well.

In addition to the above poster's advice, watch out for the flowers. If they're a bulb shape, the safe zones are on the edge of the arena, in the spots above the spaces between them.

During the latter half of the fight, Calo will cast Penetration - which will pull you towards her if you're facing her, and push you back if you're not - at the same time as these flowers appearing. Run to the safe spots while keeping your back to her until it's finished.

When axe flowers come up, hug the stem. (If both bulb and axe appear, you can hug axe and still be safe from bulb.) If it's a thin, bladed flower (they appear at the edges of the arena), stay away from the middle.

And it should go without saying at this point, but don't stand in front of her when she's casting Depth Charge.

Now I entered in progress against Ozma, but raid had success and I managed to survive against Calofisteri. Well, sometimes my HP was very low, but good healers around and ilv 223 help me.

I had a pretty good Weeping City run. It was smooth and with almost no complications. Someone on B Team flung themselves off the edge in that second between Ozma dying and the trampoline forming. But then we got to Calofisto and something happened with C Team. It's like they stopped trying or something. And they had magnets in the ass attracted to the hair jail. They sprung almost every single one.

Then better get on the Day 1 Reset Train because that is when all the skilled players run Weeping City.

You know, I always have better runs on monday than on tuesday so I always wait now lol.

To keep my sanity in this Eso TOme grind for Anima Weapon i sometimes make Jokes about things when running Research Facility. Here are some during some of my countless runs....

Tank: Ed you keep pulling aggro becuase your DPS is too high. Slow it down a bit.

Me: I am doing just fine. You are the one who failed you Oath

Tank: F***** I had Sword Oath on this entire time.

Another Different Run....

Tank: Hey healer stop spamming Broil and heal me.

Me: Guess he likes them Flamed Broil.

Other DPS member: Darn it you made me spit my drink on my computer screen.

Stone Vigil. Healer is gone before I even load in. Tank waits a little bit before bailing too. Other DPS waits a little longer, decides waiting for a new tank and healer may as well re-queue. But I'm patient, I wanna see what happens. Another DPS loads in and bails. Get one more, a Mentor Dragoon. He loads in as I decide to goof around and try seeing if I can kill the first group of mobs by repeatedly respawning and throwing myself at them. DRG seems up for it too as he joins in, we start killing things one by one. It's absurd, but I figure if we can at least make it to the first boss, I'm counting it as a win. Thankfully a Mentor Paladin shows up before that, after we've killed a small handful of trash, and a Scholar shortly after. Now we can get somewhere. Chugging along, having some fun. SCH disconnects at one point, router problem or something. After waiting/dancing a few minutes we decide to go back to the "throw your corpses at them until they die" strategy (actually PLD just forgot about some surprise ice sprites), but SCH makes it back in shortly after and we finish up.

It wasn't anything spectacular in any sense, really. But it was a pretty fun group, no stress, just having a good time. Everyone was a little disappointed we're all on different servers and won't get to team up again.

Which yeah, some exp, but its AV and we're well above the level where that tiny exp would be worth the extra half hour. Heres where it gets worse. The tank kept removing my regen in the middle of fights, like, 3 seconds after I used it, which made bosses and fights more annoying than they should be, since they took damage like a wet paper bag. Then they "d/c"... lol
