Seriously, Weeping City of Salt needs a name change to Weeping City of Carry.
Every run I've had there's at least one individual for the final boss (only really get to notice it at this point as you don't really need to focus on the fight quite so much) who is clearly being carried by their party and gets away with it.

Last night there was a Bard who had the nerve to set themselves to follow on a very active melee in their party and just go AFK until the end of the battle where miraculously they found life and emote spammed a few people I presumed were in their party. Then last week another alliance member hovered around the gate, answered the ready check, and then purposefully got themselves locked out claiming they were 'Watching Netflix' which is why they were locked out....

It rubs salt in the wounds when they hang around at the end to 'get their much deserved loot'. GG. You clearly worked so hard for that rare minion.. RNGesus seems to favour the lazy too so there's a high chance they will get what they want
I know it's not a new concept, but makes me question. Why are you playing a game you clearly don't want to play/can't be bothered to play?

I hope it wasn't Ramuh Ex you were doing... Even unsync'd that bearded (insert adjective) is a pain in the butt that wipes groups all the time. Not that hard if people actually follow the mechanics... but alas, that always seems to be asking too much ._.

Thankfully it was only Hard not Ex, I think I would have thrown my controller out of my window if it was on Ex! I'm a bit of a geek and if I'm doing a new raid I always check a guide and make notes before I join the queue for it. Having a rough idea what to do before getting in there really does help, especially for one like Ramuh...knowing when to move to a targeted player with terror to help remove it, getting on the adds immediately, leaving the electric orbs for tethered players and not attacking if tethered etc.

There's just too much to tell new players in the party before it starts xD Research might be geeky but it sure does come in handy!

Just had an interesting run of Steps of Faith. Came in in progress at 0 minutes to a party of 4 dps. It took a long time for us to get a full party, but not because there wasn't anyone joining. There were plenty of people joining. It only took as long as it did because everyone who joined almost immediately left again. In 8 minutes we went though probably 6 dps, 7 tanks and 5 healers before we finally got a few that stuck around long enough to make a full party. After which we proceeded to steamroll Vishap before he even reached the second tower.

Tis a good thing. Too many don't do that now-a-days. And on Ramuh Ex, orbs become a very big deal. Especially on a sync'd run. Tanks need to swap and get surge protection (3 orbs). Leaving orbs around will cause the lightning strikes to get more powerful (so you don't want to leave them around too long and have others grab them) and you still need 3 for breaking tethers as well as timing with tanks so they don't get massacred by Ramuh's attacks. It's better to look for a premade group no doubt if you can ^^

It must have been Steps of Faith night. We got into one with a couple new people and a tank and DPS left immediately. Wiped without a full party, rerolled and got Final Steps. We had a wipe there with a new healer, but they nailed it on the second try.

Ramuh's beard does creep me out.... but the fight isn't that hard. I actually enjoy kicking his creepy old butt.

The last couple of runs I've done, theres always that one pt that wipes to easy mechanics and is dead the whole run, yet they try to blame everyone else. Last week while trying to get my weekly loot, everything was going fine on Ozma, he gets to about 5% and suddenly my pt has all the adds on us. I look over at the other pts and they're all dead, not a clue what happened o.o One pt proceeds to yell at the other two for "placing meteors wrong". Well, we try again and to no surprise, the pt who was complaining about everyone else, was the one placing meteors wrong lol Let's just say, that whole run, that pt was dead usually within 2-3 minutes of a fight, to nothing.

Also, their entire pt couldn't kill a single void fire before it exploded...twice.

I try to tell a friend this, but he insists on waiting until the last day or two to do things because "I have all week", then proceeds to complain how terrible everyone is lol Sure, you do have all week, but the further it gets into the week, the higher the chance of having complete fail pts. I mean, just go back and look at some of my DF horror stories of being in full pts of overgeared people with no new person message, where only me and sometimes one other person knows what to do...
