I disagree that it makes you a bad healer. Not being able to keep the group alive makes you a bad healer. If someone feels that's wrong, report them. See if SE takes action against them.

Sorry, I'm with him on this one. Sure, DPS where and when you can, IF you can, but perform your primary role first and last. You have a job to do, not something to prove.

He won't DPS when he can at all. In another forum he said he goes /follow and has Selene heal the dungeon run and he buggers off.

If that's the case, he is not performing his primary role, and that's equally as bad. And yes, I've heard of SCHs doing that many times before.

The opposite is just as true; do the job you came to do, and do it well. The "It's just DF" or "It's just X content" attitude needs to die out before we can ever see any real improvement. You queue up solo, you just joined a team, so bring your A game no matter what. There's no room for anything less whether it's Savage or Sastasha.

You've now caught up. Right now he's actively encouraging bad play. And that, I feel, is a major problem. Even if he doesn't want to DPS, he should stop encouraging his style of play because it makes other healers worse.

To be honest, regardless of stances, on my Scholar, at the lowest level dungeons, I can AFK while my fairy does all the work.
