    That seems to be the trend. Personally, I'm still waiting for that castle defense mode that they originally promised waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when the first announced FL. I seem to recall a lovely concept art picture of a castle of some kind defending against a mobilized army outside the gates. Not sure what happened to that mode, but it's sure been a long time coming.

    In any case, it would be nice if they could re-spec the PvP achievements, sync all of the FL content at 60, Get rid of the damn GC garbage, and create a proper matchmaking which allows for all of the game modes. We have 4 different options now, so making them all viable would be nice for the sake of variety. Though, I'd probably cringe at each Shatter match, unless they do something to actually encourage some real PvP.

    CTF with 3 teams and so many players? No Thank you. They should just remove GC restriction and 72 modes 8vs8 only then stuff like CTF, King of the Hill etc. also they should put all modes in 1 df and then ppl can vote for one.

    Yeah it would not work in 72 at all but could be fun in 24man, and yeah 72 should get removed and maybe add 48man back instead. Or add CTF to Feast and make new mode for 8v8 or 4v4 as Feast only have 2 teams so it would popably fit better there than FL.

    The only problem I have with CTF game mode concepts in a game like this, is that I have trouble understanding how it would actually work ...

    Traditional CTF game modes require killing the flag bearer to get them to drop it / reset the flag, but I don't see that happening very smoothly in a game where one healer could potentially make the flag bearer immortal for the entire time it takes them to cross the arena. I can see how some teams would work around this, of course. Pld healer lock downs would go a long way, but then we'd be faced with the problem of having every match play out the exact same way with near identical party compositions. Tactics would pretty much go out the window, and it would fall to who has the best Dps. Rinse and repeat a few times, and I don't think anyone would be having much fun with this game mode for very long.

    Don't get me wrong, I would really like to see a CTF game mode. I'm just not sure how it would actually work without being overly boring or broken.

    In WoW, which also had healers in their PvP, the flag carrier was disallowed from certain actions, such as becoming invisible, mounting etc. After a while, they would also get a debuff that made them take more damage.
    So the gameplay typically looked like this:
    1) Healer supported flag carrier on both teams bring the flag to the opposite side.
    2) Half the team protects the flag carrier while the other attempts to get the flag back
    3) Zerg until either carrier dies.

    Honestly, it's not too different from the feast, or any kill based mode with healers for that matter. You try to burst someone against the heals and if that fails, wage a war of attrition against the healer's mana bar. At the very least our healers tend to not be very mobile while healing, so chasing druids around pillars for 45 minutes until timeout is avoided.

    In WoW, it was pretty much you right click and you instantly carried the flag/returned the flag and it was a frantic clickfest from everyone involved whenever somebody with a flag got low.

    I suppose it could be done with an interruptable bar as well. But I'm just stating how it worked in a similar game :3

    Yeah i was thinking something like good ol WSG and thats why i suggested it to be FL instead Feast map at first, current 8v8 feast map is way too small for CTF. If im totally honest i would jizz in my pants if SE copied WSG map layout in here and same goes for AB as those two were my favorites for over 4 years.
