I capped piety and am going rest into accuracy (114 I think?). MP is still the biggest dps hurdle when I'm main healing and trying to dps as much as possible, even at 14500ish mp pool.

edit: as far as crit v. det goes, crit is pretty meh on whm for a number of reasons:

• Our only shield is a flat percentage and gains no value from crit
• You can't rely on crit to boost your straight heals (cure I-III, medica I), you have to plan your healing based off a non crit potency.
• As a whm you are typically going to be the main healer, which usually means less active dps, the one place where crit really shines on whm.

Yes you can, but it is inflexible. Progression on A8s still requires Vitality melds to reach around 19k HP, which takes up your entire right side slots. To reach hitcap with these melds figured in, you need to either a) have two pentamelded accessories (which locks you into two 220 items and costs a shitton of gil) or b) put full Accuracy on your relic, freeing up your melds. The relic is clearly the better and more flexible choice here, and it's more future-proof to boot.
