WTF happened to Ramuh HM? I've been spamming trials for poetics and the last 10 times I've done it, people are just eating the orbs whenever they pop up so when someone finally does get tethered, there are no orbs to eat. I asked someone not to do that and the dummy replied "does it matter?" Yes, you imbecile, it clearly matters because the NIN I'm tethered to is literally killing himself because he won't stop attacking and I can't break the tether BECAUSE THERE AREN'T ANY ORBS TO EAT.

you know what is worst? a troll on ramuh ex, a ninjawe had completly ignore the add face and was still atacking ramuh. Wost he did LB, of coruse we couldnt kill adds on time. After the wipe he disconnected.

Kinda wish the Hall of Novice was a mandatory thing and taught more than just basics, such as the cross class skills you mentioned and recommended skills to help each job do better.

I wouldnt even care about doing it on alts because you do get gear out of it suited to your class.

More advanced classes should be offered at the Hall of the Novice too. Cleric Stance dancing should be offered to teach people about it .

Aurum Vale was rough tonight. FC leader and I spammed it a bit as healer/BLM. Got a lot of bad tanks, but the worst was a GLADIATOR that mostly just spammed Halones. At the 15 minute mark we were just getting through the first room but boss was pulled before we could vote abandon. We voted abandon promptly after the wipe, though.

The saddest part was the other DPS in with us recognized the guy and already knew our fate, and tried to warn us...

Aurum Vale in leveling roulette with a friend, he's paladin and I'm AST. The dragoon never uses Heavy Thrust, keeps standing in the yellow stuff and barely dodges any AOE, getting herself killed twice during the second boss fight. The bard is okayish until she hits level 50, then she's suddenly more or less just autoattacking with a handfull of weaponskills used. At one point my paladin friend stops to write something in party chat, meanwhile everyone waits, but then the bard suddenly runs to the next trash group and attacks it with Rain Death. Her apology is "wait, you weren't ready? I'm in TS with friends, not paying much attention".

Paladin grabs the mobs, we kill them and then proceed to the final boss. Bard gets 5 stacks but doesn't eat a fruit and stands at the far end of the arena, out of my healing range (which she also did during the other boss fights, first one was a pain to keep her up), and when adds spawn, none of the DPS uses any AOE skills, in fact they even focus the boss when the mini morbols hatch and eat the paladin. We wipe, I tell the DPS to unleash AOE hell to kill the adds, but as I don't trust them (specially this bard ._.), I stop to change my crossclasses and replace Aero with Blizzard II.
Second try, adds spawn again, bard doesn't do anything, dragoon hits the adds in single target, so it's me Blizzard II'ing them to death, which surprisingly works (this spell deals double digit damage! Imagine how fast the shit dies when an actual DPS deals with it ._.). Bard gets hit by bad breath, I cleanse the debuffs, then she eats a second bad breath. Now I decide keeping her up is nothing but a waste of mana, so I let her die, don't raise her and we 3-man this for the last ~20%.
After the clear, I say "people should stay away from TS if they're not able to talk and play at the same time", and the bard is like "are you f***ing serious, I'm running this dungeon for the 5th time today and never died until now".
Of course, it's the healer's fault if the DPS is distracted. But whatever, I just shrug it off and leave the dungeon. F*** Aurum Vale ;_;

Duty Finder: Trials...I was trying to do about ten trials a day so I could get the trophy on PS4 for doing 100 instanced raids/dungeons...

I got Ramuh three times in a row (my least favourite because people always forget the adds and we always get wiped.)

After those three I got Good King Moggle Mog XII. In the party chat I expressed my relief that it wasn't Ramuh again and how I can't handle his beard because it's where he keeps all his secrets.

Someone else called him a dirty grandpa. It was a bit messed up but it made me laugh quite a lot and that was probably the most interesting trials thing that happened.

I got the trophy though. It was a gold trophy so worth the constant lightning strikes from Ramuh.

I hope it wasn't Ramuh Ex you were doing... Even unsync'd that bearded (insert adjective) is a pain in the butt that wipes groups all the time. Not that hard if people actually follow the mechanics... but alas, that always seems to be asking too much ._.

A couple of days ago, I did leveling roulette on my scholar with a couple of FC mates, and we end up in Brayflox with a sprout paladin. At first, I was a bit grumbling unhappily to myself because level sync takes away my Leeches in a dungeon with debuffs. During the second boss, the pally quickly gains control of the add mob and tanks it along with the boss. It's smooth, and I check his info to see if pally's just an alt job. It's not, so this guy's gotta be an alt character, I'm thinking.

Next pull, the start of the water area, he ends up grabbing everything in the first part of the area, and I'm healing furiously to keep him up why am I healing so hard wtf his gear was on level - oh, I'm just dumb and in Cleric's. Toggle that off, and it's easy peasy mode to keep him up, and if I hadn't left Eos on sic, we'd have wiped horribly. I feel horrible when he compliments my healing and jokingly admit that I was dumb and in CS.

Now, the tank admits he's not sure where to go. This sprout is on his first characer, and he's doing a damn good job tanking an instance he doesn't know except maybe from a guide online. Where's the cloning machine? We get to the last boss after murdering the coeurl, and I ask if he needs to know about the fight, and after his confirmation, we explain the mechanics. Proceeds to be one of the smoothest runs I've ever seen in there, and the dragon goes down PDQ, never even has a chance to heal from his own poisony barf on the ground.

I meant to ask what server he was on, but he left before I could. I wish I remembered his name.

Last time I got Ramuh, we had an ot war who ONLY ran around the arena grabbing orbs, not even touching Ramuh or adds :/ Worst part, they weren't new
