I'm not condoning the player or the GMs for this but I suspect he gets away with it because of the blanket rule of "play how you want". The GMs may agree that he should be banned but unable to because of the policies they have to support on the job.

Personally I think it crosses the line into griefing and the player should be banned.

I mean yeah its the whole "play how you want" but when your way is literally trolling and refusing to play before you even begin then your just a pompous ass who deserves to be kicked. My way could be that I could kick all Roes from the party cus I don't like them or other lalafells cus I deserve to be the only one. =/

BTW, please encourage your friend to stick around with the game. It really sours my stomach to know that they came back to the game and day 1 this happens. I'd hate to see someone leave for good because of one jerk SE refuses to ban.

Yeah it was pretty rough but there sticking around. There going to be joining me on my roulettes while I tank on my drk. Really, are you under geared? Alright I'll do normal pulls. New to a run? I'll pause, let you enjoy the cutscenes, and go over the boss's.

SE can only ban someone who breaks the ToS, no matter how many people report a person just because he/she may be obnoxious and arrogant. SE cannot ban someone just because x amount of people report them, there could also be campaigns or 4chan style trolling of a random person whom multiple people might choose to report just to join the bandwagon without ever meeting aforementioned person. Now I have no idea who the person your referring to is and have no intention of going off to read that other site but my point is that bans are not based off how many people make a report. What matters is the context of the report, whether the information in the report is accurate/true and most importantly whether they broke the ToS or not.

So, today I did some Bismarck EX, through DF (not the best way to get a bird, but I was bored and needed something to do while FC members got on so we could have a decent/good pt for it and get us some birds). Now, all of you know that this fight can and has been beaten at i170/i180. Well, this was the most special run ever >_> Everyone was i220+. We didn't have enough dps to kill the snakes.

Was doing trial roulette on my BLM and got Cape Westwind. Nice, fast Esos. While the new ninja watches the cutscene, one of the WHMs /slaps me. I feel like wtf and answer with /surprised, just to get another /slap from her. I /cry and she answers "YES LET ME BATH IN YOUR TEARS!!". Telling the party that she kinda scares me (in fact I was laughing my ass off), the other WHM /comforts me. Then the ninja finishes the cutscene and asks what to do, we tell him to "just burn the motherf***er", so we do. After the fight is done, this weird WHM /slaps me again and says, "I have an eye on you, Arutemus. We'll meet again."
I'm just like, what. I don't even know who she is, I looked her up on Lodestone to check if she might have seen me somewhere before, but she's not even on my server. ...I don't know what I've done to deserve her /slaps

Later, I was spamming some ARF on my WHM. One run was pretty smooth, but during the ascians fight, I lagged and thus died to AOEs. The summoner raised me, but before I could accept it, the battle ended and Ascian Prime spawned. I was still dead, and it took about 10 seconds before I got an option to do anything, then the option to accept the raise appeared. I actually wanted to release to get rid of the weakness debuff, but as this option kinda didn't show up, I accepted the raise and respawned inside the boss room, hoping that I won't facepull the boss by doing this. But... there was no boss. Actually, nobody but me was there, the tank asked me "where the heck did you raise to!?" So, I was all alone in something that seemed to be a copy of the area I was supposed to be, fortunately I could exit and re-enter the area to find my group mates again. Was actually kinda fun, I was joking that I'm Gilgamesh in disguise and I found a secret dimension

Maybe I shouldn't have waited until Sunday to do the Lost City of Mhach because it was a slightly painful experience. One of the things I've noticed the most, and which causes a lot of deaths more often then not, is healers not cleansing that darn bleed during the Ozma fight. I have died a number of times because of it. Yesterday I even let them know to cleanse it (in case they were new) and I still died because I got two stacks.

I've had times where I had to ignore the bleeds because I was dealing with other slightly more important things than the bleed DoT.

Pretty much during the triangle phase you should be spreading out if you can so the bleeds affect as few people as possible.

Yep. I always keep away from others during that phase but RNG is RNG, so sometimes I get targeted multiple times.

Well, when I see myself slowly but surely dying to a bleed stack, and then watch from the floor as our MCH gets a bleed stack and slowly dies without any help... That's two party members the healer has to rez now which is much more mana intensive than a quick cleanse. Or, you know, they could even try and pop a regen on us until they have time to cleanse. I get it, though, the fight can be intense to heal in depending on how the party performs. But this has happened often enough that I can't help but wonder.
