It's more than just a "couple hundred" though. This is a link to the free companies on the Moogle server, sorted by size. Scroll down until you hit the FC's with 97 members. There are 3 that stand out. Take a look at the members in those FC's. Then scroll down a bit more until you hit 73 members. Same again. In those 6 FC's there are 510 quite obvious bot characters. And that is just on Moogle alone. Now, for example, imagine every server has at least 510 bots on it. That is 32,640 characters. At £8.99/$14.99 per month that works out to be £293,434/$489,274 per month. While not every bot is necessarily linked to RMT, a hell of a lot are. And to ban all of those accounts would be a real big loss of income.

Any chargeback results in permanent ban of the account. Seeing how many Bots are active for such a long time, i dont think this is the case.

I would assume they pay themselves. That way easier to stay under radar.
