My personal priorities have nothing to do with it since I consider glamour the true endgame, but while glamour is a great and fun thing, NOT having it never ever keeps you from playing the game.
On the other hand, ilvl is a hard cap that keeps you literally locked out of content, story, everything. Even if you barely make it over such a wall,
you'd still need to better your ilvl to even be considered to be added to the party by other players.
So no matter how much you LIKE glamour, you never literally NEED it to play.
