45 days is NOT fine. That gives you only ONE month you are free to skip a sub if you need a break. Last year I ended up in a bind, laid off from work and unable to pay for my sub as my savings had to go to more vital things, like bills. It took me three months to get back on my feet. You really think I want to lose everything I worked so hard for due to thing's that are out of my control?

As is right now to own a home you are not allowed ANY breaks from the game. If you move, get deployed, or just need a breather for a bit. You have to still be paying during that time. Real life money wasted so you don't lose progress.

I say if they must, turn on the limit the first month of the year to rid of houses that have been inactive for ages, much like they did this time, then turn it off. This way you still free up plots but don't prevent people who need to be away from the game to be away from the game.
