I agree but also don't think Uematsu is the kinda guy that would slave over the music remix table for each patch of the game. I do think they should get Uematsu to make more tracks though for the game. I think they aren't because they want the young guy to have a music career & maybe there is some kinda music rights ownership on how they are selling the music discs.

Thing is Yoshi-P is an ENIX man, not Squaresoft.
Hiromichi Tanaka (FFXI and XIV 1.0 director) was part of Squaresoft in the golden age, reason why we had Uematsu for FFXIV itself, they were preserving the original team.

And yeah, Uematsu should work on the whole OST (4.0). I hope he will.

Tanka was one of the founders/been there since day one as a young adult. Think sometime after the first 2 FF's he was the director for FF3.

Be nice if he joined Mistwalker & they actually got around to making a game good as FF. Lost Odd is nice but I hate xbox XD.

Going off topic a bit, Lost Odyssey was lovely, same goes for the Last Story. We starting to see Sakaguchi around Square-Enix though, finally. That's thanks to Bravely Default (with Akihiko Yoshida as designer, same 1.0 had) which sold -a lot-, showing SE the right way to keep.
I am Setsuna is just the beginning, with XV -gone- already all the hype goes on XVI and I really hope Ito (aka FF9/FF12 director with Matsuno) will lead the game.

I really hope those new vibes will reach FFXIV and/or the next FF online game.
