it's impossible to need Expert/Lv 60 roulette stuff for leveling. unless you mean leveling desynthesis.Well even though I need the seals, it's not on the same level as someone who may need the gear for leveling. The seals will just be used for crafting materials, airship ventures and retainers. The retainers only purpose for being sent out now for myself is bringing back things to make gil. So that's why I only roll greed, if someone needs them for leveling I would rather they have it even if deprives myself of a lesser need.
Protip:
Do not:
Spend GC seals on venture because the rate you consume is higher than the rate of getting them through seals.
It's not sustainable -especially if you're casual like myself.
Do:
Spend 20 allied seals for 5 ventures.
This is very sustainable even if you do minimal hunts.
You heard me right - 20 allied seals for FIVE ventures
I’m not saying what the OP should or shouldn’t do, but I will toss in my two cents. I buy ventures (usually in stacks of 50), I have four retainers, I usually send them all out on quick ventures only (unless I need to restock crystals), and I always have way more ventures than I can spend in any given day/week/whatever.
The only thing I do is turn in the daily crafted item on a couple jobs for exp/seals (rarely, depends if I’m in the mood to level some of my lower level crafters or not) and turn in gear that either my retainers bring back or I win through greed in dungeons. And yes, I typically ONLY roll greed unless it’s an item I need to complete a set or it’s an upgrade for the job I’m currently on (which is almost never in 4-man dungeons). I run only one expert roulette per day usually, unless it’s a weekend, then I may do more dungeons.
I literally have to spend my ventures FASTER so they don’t take more than one stack in my inventory.
The only caveat is that I am not OCD about sending them out. It’s more like “whenever I get back to my retainers” instead of “I must send them out again immediately after they return”. So if I play for six hours, I might send them out 2-3 times.
But, I could see the problem if you were trying to keep four retainers going every hour on the hour when they return, let alone on two characters. But…as others have stated, that’s not really what the cost of ventures from GC seals was designed around…
Hunt currency can make a big difference to the speed you obtain them. If you really need more then you'd be best to join an active hunt party, imo.
Also remember that the majority have only two retainers. It should remain somewhat balanced towards that.

Don't downplay exploratory ventures. The 16-hour ventures are the ONLY way to get Minions, which are some of the highest-value venture rewards. It would take a total of 76,800 seals to send my retainers out every hour for a 24 hour period on quick ventures which is the only venture type that I use since mine are all pretty much leveled already so exploration is pointless to me and all generic farming items (branches and ores etc) I gather myself rather than through my retainers. A quick venture costs 2 tokens per retainer per hour x 8 retainers equals 16 tokens per hour (3200 seals every hour). Even if run 2 dungeons at 30 mins per run, assuming only run the highest tier dungeons with best gear drops worth the most seals I would need to win the loot roll on at least 2 items per run and I would have to run those and win that amount non-stop to fund all my retainers every hour.
Also don't downplay the value of basic ventures. They cost only one Venture apiece, and with a little market research you can find items that sell SO MUCH better than the random crap Quick ventures bring back.
As for earning GC points to get ventures, as folks have already said, you can get a crazy amount of GC points just by lotting the random dungeon armor drops. It's not at all uncommon, in fact, for me to get into a dungeon where everyone passes everything, thinking that the Tomestones are the only thing of value there. Their loss is my gain!
In my case, when dungeon drops are scarce, I send my retainers out on Exploratory 16-hour ventures. When drops are plentiful, I'll send them on Quick and Basic ventures until my supply of GC points starts to dip low again. (Generally I use my FSH retainer for Quick ventures, and send everyone else on Basic.)
I have all the minions from them already. Got them all from when was using exploratory ones for leveling but now my retainers are mostly leveled and have all the minions, in terms of normal ventures I use my character rather than retainers to farm the items because I can farm more than the retainers can bring back in a fraction of the time aka if retainer can bring back 30 logs in an hour I can farm those 30 logs in 5 minutes on my character. So the only venture type I do is quick ones.

Then farm fate... You need more venture than the average, then YOU need to put more effort than the average to earn more seals... (to get more Varech and gobbie... yay ;p)
I have 4 retainer, I can send them everytime i can and still have enough seals to buy some crafting materials (that I find too expensive on the market)

You are getting an unfair advantage of pay2profit.. stfu

I just do beast tribes. They supply my daily ventures. >.>'
