Isn't it sad how your average wait time is expected to be 26 minutes?

Average Wait Time for PvP queues is calculated in some way that makes it effectively uninformative and misleading.

As Aether Flames, '25 minutes' usually meant '45 minutes' (or more). As Aether Adders, I see 'More than 30 Minutes' when I queue up, and my queue pops within about 8-15 minutes on average (a 'long' outlier would be 20-25 minutes).

Its sad that SE is okay with this.

To be fair, if you asked Yoshida point blank, "Are you okay with this?", I doubt he is. He wants players to enjoy their time in FFXIV.

Resolving it is probably not as simple as we want it to be, though, especially since the three JP Datacenters don't have the same issues (so any fix for NA/EU would also have to avoid breaking or mangling the functioning JP system).
