Forgive my ignorance, but what is the point of doing the Odin fate these days? I did it myself a couple of days ago because I happened to be nearby, but there's not much to enjoy except for a lagfest and a few tokens.

Help new players to the game. Every time I've done it since 3.0 3+ people get the Uncut achievement and I'm on a server where character creation is locked out 99% of the time.

Also it's a really fun fight, most don't like it so they don't turn out but on my server at least 20+ people turn out each time even on off peak times except sometimes the timing is pretty bad because word doesn't go around fast enough. I enjoy the fight a lot so I want to keep doing it. Plus the buffs from 3.0 means that Odin is tough even when he's level 50 and we're all level 60s.

I find the FATE a little fun and is just something else to do besides my regular routine but I agree, there's not much to enjoy. If people enjoy going 2 FPS that is, because the entire server decided to show.
