DoL/DoH materia from airships...

Back before V's were added to airship ventures my FC used to be able to fairly distribute DoL/DoH IV's to FC members since we were getting a healthy supply of them, but recently they've become scarcer than a hen's teeth.

I realise that IV's have been added as a reward for Ixali, but our stockpile of IV's from airships has all but dried up due to the insane number of them needed to meld the new ironworks gear.

Please SE, revert the number of IV's back to what we used to get before you nerfed it while adding V's. It would really help encourage people to get into higher tier crafting if I was able to shout them some free IV's from airships. Instead, many people I know are simply scared off at the thought of it (and yes there are red scrips but without DoL classes to gather the mats, many people find that route also ends up being quite expensive)

We used to get 15+ materia IV per airship voyage, meaning 4 Airships could haul 60+ materias IV... Now we get 1-3 if we get anything at all.
Do the math now.

Well RNGesus then because i still get 10+ materia from airship voyage
But the only thing now is the additionnal mats that lower the odds of getting them

Which is fine... same as retainer more comp, less % not game breaking since there is more way to get materia

Yes, I don't mind. You can also exchange Red scrip tokens for materia IV.

Airship Materia has been nerfed. That is the point of this topic. Yes we get more ways of obtaining IV and V materia now, but at the expense of Airships effectiveness. Devalueing all of the hard work FC's have put into optimizing and customizing their ships/builds.

What was the reason for making Airships less viable for farming materia. This is the topic of discussion.

I could also add that the airship system wasn't made to farm materia only but to also get specific and exclusive mats
That are "nerfed" because ship give materia

Answer this: Why did SE add Silver Ore (a material from 2.0 that can be obtained with a lvl 21 Miner or retainer ventures) to the DOH/DOL Materia sectors?

Well to add an other way to get some

Just like they add more thing for the retainer to get in 1h random mission
Which mean less materia V or EX comp for him

I don't want to call it à nerf unless it's clearly "lower drop rate" without adding new comp or "lower number yield" in patchnote
