Wtf is "not doing my job" then? In fact, what's this new fad in this broken game about people "not doing their job" whenever a legitimate problem arises? Doesn't affect you? Great, but it affects other people.

Can you handle it? Fine. Some can't. Following something around doesn't do crap when it decides to walk back to it's area and some tard comes and insta-claims it when you probably don't have an insta claim yourself.

I'm not 'high and mighty.' I've been playing since June and it's not difficult to hit r50 in that time period. I'm not even what you would call a hardcore player. I'm in a casual, social LS. I sometimes have a hard time finding groups to do endgame content with. I'm an AVERAGE player.

What I'm not, is a complainer. I can't stand the bitching and moaning that goes on around here, you guys need to grow the hell up and stop whining constantly the minute anything gets a little harder in the game.

There's no legitimate problem here until it's documented as actually happening. As I doubt that's the case, all you're doing is blowing off steam.

Fight a mob -> Claim is yours
Guy 2 walks up and uses taunt -> Runs off
Mob follows Guy 2 -> Mob returns to territory (ALL CLAIM OFF NO ENMITY. SLATE CLEANED)
Guy 2 -> Some action against mob ASAP
Guy 2 -> complete 100% claim over mob.

We had exactly this happen yesterday when grinding in a Beastman stronghold. And the solution is simple: when the mob runs off after the other dude, you follow it and kill it instead of sitting there with a thumb up your ass.

He doesn't get a chance to claim the mob unless you're basically not doing your job.

Let me know the first time this actually happens, in a meaningful way with some NM that doesn't re-pop every 4 minutes, and I'll get concerned about it. Otherwise, can't join you in QQ'ing in my beer over this non-problem.

And what you're saying is probably right and doesn't really matter in this game right now but thinking in long term if they do release more open field NM/HNM that isn't 4-10min repops and this was still in the game it will be a problem.
Sure you can follow the mob but what if the other guys had a pull bot like FFXI once the claim gets unclaimed the just spam and pull the mob to claim it.

That is what I'm worrying about.

With current game I'm not concerned at all, I don't care if I lose a claim with current game but I'm just looking at the bigger picture.

Mob import? Wouldn't say that. But in our effort to bring down Sirocco for it's THM staff, people thought it'd be hilarious to screw with others.

Blowing off steam =/= being legitimately pissed. Let's not even mention the fact that all my hard earned stuff is dated (Cuz I can always get new ones) or that I can't solo (I have my boyfriend for that, but even then duoing is still difficult and the exp doesn't exactly roll in). This is a type of system that invites A LOT of trouble with griefers (Sp?) or anyone who dislikes anyone and wants an easy way to screw them over.

this happened to me today. it was near camp horizon with just some random mobs i was testing skills out on.
either the people were just being mean or using me as their guinea pig to see if they could get my half dead mobs items.... well they sure did.
