It's a downer not only for appearance, but also for inv space. I'm trying to get all battle classes to 50, and that being the case, I want gear for all of them on me at all times.

Yes and no. Inventory space is easily manageable, even with all classes to 50 (we have several members in this position). It's just a matter of deeming things unimportant or not. Like for myself, I work on virtually all of my classes (minus Fishing), yet I have an empty retainer. I understand what you mean though, but I kinda agree with SEs goal, which is to give classes a unique appearance. Also, if your goal is to have all battle classes to 50, what will you do when they introduce full artifact-like sets and each class you have has their own unique set apart from accessories & underwear?

I'm hoping that they allow us to keep some of the extra inv space hat we were given this last patch.
Pre-patch I had already decided what was important for me to have in my inv. That left me with 10 spaces for drops.

Yea, well again, if that's what you deem important to have that's fine. I personally don't hold that much stuff on myself because I just don't feel it's necessary, I'm working on ranking all classes as well, but I rotate certain things around to ensure I have inventory space. I definitely think there are tweaks that can be made as far as inventory goes.
For example, I'd like to stop seeing stuff I'm wearing in my inventory. Am I wearing it, or is it put away? Paradox..... dude....

Im hoping they allow us seperate inv for 1 set of gear per class at some point.
I.e you change class and swich wardrobe kind of thing, it will def ease the problem of having too much gear taking up valuable space.
