Yes, and ARR have already the nerfed down version of AV. Originally even the air was poisoned, not only the pools. And Coincounter had adds that started to attack with AoE the moment someone moved.
Good old 1.21 dungeons. Somehow it is sad that ARR and HW don't have dungeons similar to AV and CC during 1.21

As an aside, it's fairly easy to obtain that kind of exp in 5 minutes fate grinding in Southern Than. This is a really easy dungeon, but what makes me HATE this dungeon are the incredibly impatient people who won't let the fruits spawn. I get it if you're over 50 already and are running it for roulette, but when you are LEVELING, you'd rather cost yourself close to 100k in exp? That's roughly 4 or 5 fates worth of exp of in as little as five minutes. Those seedlings are extremely easy to kill for the exp they're worth, especially if you have a BLM in the group.
I got told off today by a MCH that by me wanting to let the fruits spawn, I was wasting his time. He was leveling... I'm SAVING him time by having people kill the fruits, saving him another run of AV in the future!
Whatever. Again, I get if you're 50+, it doesn't make sense, but when you're leveling... it will always baffle me.
Personally, I don't understand why people are so adamant about making people stay in Aurum Vale longer. We already get enough exp to level past 49 via challenge logs, roulette bonuses, guildhest bonuses etc. "I'm going to waste an extra couple of minutes of my life getting that exp you made me skip, instead you should waste a couple minutes of your life!" Both sides are being selfish in all honesty. The funniest is when a tank/healer makes a big deal.. Just re-queue, the bosses give more exp, and you get instant queue...
OK, well to give you some more data, my friend and I got 120k in 80 seconds in South Than spamming fates. This does require a good spawn on fates and decent DPS, however.
That said in Aurum Vale, you can get that exp in 2 minutes (I guess? has anyone timed the difference over a multi-run study with controls etc?), but are wasting someone elses 2 minutes that they don't want or need. Whereas in the fate grinding, it will take you longer, but you're not being a burden to someone else. I guess I just prefer to be respectful of other peoples time.

I think this same argument is fairly applied to darkhold "first room farms". Sure it's nice exp, but you're wasting someone else's time just so you can spam kill enemies for a little extra. What's worse is in that level range fates are favorable due the fact people still farm North Than like bots.OK, well to give you some more data, my friend and I got 120k in 80 seconds in South Than spamming fates. This kind of thinking is seriously asinine. You are already there. You are killing Gold Vines and should be killing the seedlings along with it, but instead, you'd rather exit the dungeon, run around the map looking mobs to hunt, find fates (and at this point of the game, they aren't being ran very much at that level) or ... even run the ENTIRE dungeon again? You really need to understand that amount of exp is attainable by spending just a few extra minutes in AV. You WILL NOT get that much exp that quickly from fates or any other leveling method.
