    No, that would be not challenging, because you kill the seeds with 2-3 hits. Maybe if the devs increase their def, so that 15-20 hits are needed.

    Killibg the seedlings is almost exactly the same time as killing the eggs. Actually it's faster.

    A tank using flash to make them hedge, while dps single target down the big one, switching to AoE when they hedged. Done.

    TC, here's a reason for killing the fruit before they turn into Seedlings, that no one here has mentioned yet : consistency.

    You have to kill them before they sprout in the final boss. If they sprout in the final boss fight, those adds give a stack of that buff with each Melee hit. That's something to be avoided at almost all costs.

    Contrast that to the fruit/seedlings before that boss, and you are rewarded for letting them spawn.

    It's the only time I can think of (bearing in mind that I got up less than 20 minutes ago) where the dungeon teaches you a mechanic exactly opposite of what you need to do later on (in that very dungeon, no less).

    It would be more consistent and challenging if they applied that poison in the rest of the dungeon also. Not like they couldn't spread around ample amounts of antidote fruit if they are really worried about the common denominator. It increasingly seems like common sense that either fruit should earn exp or seedlings should not. Perhaps with a slight buff to fruit to make them harder to kill before spawn.

    Well, for me anyways... I hate Aurum Vale and I'd rather get it over with as fast as possible most of the time (I would rather take the extra time leveling in other dungeons than running AV). I suspect others may feel the same way.

    That being said, if someone requested that we don't kill the fruit, I would oblige.

    You don't even have to wait for the seeds to hatch. Tank runs near them, healer heals the tank and all the seeds aggro. Tank grabs available mobs and the team clears them while seeds hatch. It does not make the dungeon longer at all. Whenever I see leveling people in the group and someone is killing the seeds, the only reasons I can think of are ignorance or malice. They are denying others free experience points.

    AV is awesome. It's one of the few places where heal-over-time heals can reach their full potential, where tanks get to practice careful pulling and dps can practice their burst (seeds on last boss). It's basic stuff but a wake-up call for many.
