This is pretty much the same reason why Ifrit hasn't been bested yet. People still need to optimize their gear.

Granted, we are not super awesome players. But most of us have cleared Dzemael many times already.

I'm sure there is a way to clear it now... but the ogre is a beast again for now.

People need to figure it out, you cannot keep the ogre in 1 spot anymore without the ghost destroying you.

Another words we are at ground 0 again on darkhold.

Do it with 3 other people of the same GC and you get a base of 1.5k seals.

Doubled for Foundation Day that is a potential 3k seals.

Did I mention Easy Ifrit is soooooo easy? You spend more time in the cutscenes than the actual battle.

I actually spent the entire time in a cutscene, I crashed as the intro scene ended, and logged back in just time for the closing cutscene.

I actually did not get to see the r30 Ifrit at all, but I got credit (gotta love that fix).

Seriously, Yoshi-P. One of the better endgame contents you have and you can't be arsed to rebalance it for the new system? I am very, very pissed right now, at the very prospect that I will likely be missing out on the limited items from Foundation Day because SOME NOOB DEVELOPER FAILED TO REBALANCE THIS CRAP.

I can't believe I am going to say this... But you are doing it wrong somehow.... I have yet to run Dzhamel.... and I had enough seals to buy my chocobo and the patriots choker.... easy.... all I did was do the lvl 20-30 GC quests.... AND I bought a the body piece... for my GC....

lol no it wasnt this was a bitch of you not having seals to get your chocobo and patriot choker.... you just blamed Darkhold and therefore Y-P for your current problem.

By appropriate gear, I presume you mean all the new r45+ non-dated gear? If at that point it still feels impossible, the Darkhold may have been optimized to provide a challenge for players in full materia-enhanced gear - just like Hyper Ifrit so clearly is.

That being the case, there wouldn't be anything to complain about, as they effectively re-introduced old, bested content as being challenging all over again.

Also, saying the DH was not adjusted for this patch is rather funny, seeing as how every single mob in the game, especially the bosses, had to be changed stat-wise with the way stats work being changed themselves in game.

I don't know how far along you were on the company quest prior to the patch but I had only done LL. After the patch I completed everything I needed to join a company and earned enough Seals for my Chocobo Insurance + my Choker with some left over. haven't done a dungeon raid yet. BTW after joining a company do the side quests before the 11th. The are good for at least an additional 1200 Seals even if you do not do the party 1.

The choker is 1,000 seals. Anyway though, you saying you can't beat the Ogre? I'm finding balance as an issue to be hard to believe. What is it, ghost damage that's getting you? It's not that hard to never get hit by a ghost. Why don't you post what's up and maybe we can help you. Hell, I'd even be willing to run it with you.

Also can you do the GC side quests? That will put you @ over 1,000 seals.
