The question for Monday: Why do you need your clear asap?

I've been trying to clear. Final phase experience and I join parties in final phase but half of the members die to mechanics before we even get there. So frustrating.

yeah I hate clear parties after I learn the fight I just ask a farm party to let me in and we clear/farm the rest of the day. Wish there was a party in between clear and farm. If you don't get a clear fast enough you will be stuck with the bad people.

That's what put me off to doing anymore ex after the first 3. "Yeah, we/I know all of the mechanics". Said person who said that proceeds to die to everything -.- It's not even a rare occurrence either, it never fails to happen on everything.

Also, reason why I need to clear asap on things? If you don't do it day 1 and don't have a static, 90% chance you'll never get it done because the majority of the people who actually know how to listen / know their job are now doing clear pts so you get stuck with over half a pt in pf filled with people who want to be carried :/

1. Because the longer I wait the fewer "good players" there will be to party with, they will have moved on and the odds of having a good party will decrease.
2. Because if they have been carried through the first phase, they see no reason why they can't be carried through the next phase too.
3. Nothing, they will join whatever has the possibility of getting them what they want and when they want it.

You just gave me a idea I'm gonna make a party in PF to pratice Nidhogg The final steps of faith. Tried 13 times to complete it on Sunday and every party I was in could get past the final phase and this was on normal mode.

The curerent issues with the PUGs in PF are self made by the people.

To many times people join into parties without having patience, not knowing what they claim to know, don't bring the needed effort or just want a carry.

After the long time since the release of 2.0, veterans are more and more organizing their groups outside of PF, because of to many bad experiences in the past with random people. They are looking for people in FCs, linkshells and friendlists. They are grouping up with people they know and trust.

As a result, the amount of "good" PUGs in PF is getting lesser and lesser.

And to get to the point of the OP: This issue is not that issue outside of PF.

NA players are some of the meanest, most elitist, most obnoxious players in the game and after years of trying, I'm at the point where it's not even worth my time. I'll wait until it makes it into duty finder and clear it there with strangers from other servers. There's no way I'm putting up a PF on Gilgamesh.

Interesting. You'll notice what server I'm on? Every word I've spoken, has been from the perspective of a Gilgamesh player. Perhaps I just have thicker skin than most...

Nidhogg likely to be outdated even sooner than other primals were. The weapons are already outdated, with people already having our relics or midas weapons. Outside of bird farming there's no reason to step back in there after clearing it once

Report for today:

I have spent over 12h in the last phase training groups for Nidhogg Ex. Got to the last phase less than 10 times and mostly with half dead groups. I have seen all the mechanics once and only thanks to the hallowed ground. During the last run I was so surprised when we finally got to the tower phase I had absolutely no idea which tower was mine... I am starting to think that party finder is not good for my mental health ^^

Why is the community such rubbish?!

Ehm. Why can't people understand that the things must be done in a certain order? When the party is made to train the last phase it is supposed to get there 9 out of 10 tries. Even 7/10 would be much better than what I have seen today. But there is always someone, quite often multiple people, who just joins in and dies again and again in the first phase which is followed by quick disband to save people's feelings. This is starting to be slightly depressing...

Idk, why it is so hard to understand that by joining groups above players experience it is harmful not just for the party itself but also for the party finder as whole. The thing written in the description feels most of the time like a false advertisement and there is no protection against it because it is based on players morals and they have almost none it seems.

I am considering making a static for the Nidhogg and never opening that toxic place filled with carrying again... sigh.
