Had my weekly run in Mhach (god forbid I run that more then 1 per week)..it was one of those days wherre your internet decides that everything has to go wrong...Every action were like 2-3 secs late, I did warn I had that problem comp freezing action stopping bah. Until final boss though I managed to keep alive, I died once but yeah..survived with some luck. Last boss though is another story, I kept dying to basically every aoes...mind you I was in good company, we wipped 4x before to pass the last boss, I still had those delays and it was nightmarish...but what was more silly is my co-healer that right before we started the last boss said that he didnt like to run with people that didnt know their stuff...next you know she was the one dying in all aoes even before me having to deal with death. I rezzed her 4x in one of our attempts, rezzed others from other groups, and still she couldnt stay up to a poin tthat my mana was lowest to the lowest even when using the drain and stuff....it was...one of my worst run in more then 2 years...but still nice to know I wasnt the only one in that boat...albeit I can blame my internet, I Wonder what the rest has for an excuse. Sometimes, you are glad to know why you die and know there is little you can do (had I know better the place I would probably been able to anticipate but 2 runs is n ot enough for that)

I did Void Ark for the first time a few days ago. The first run was easy and cool, with people making jokes and stuff. Got 2 pieces of the fending set, Nice.

A few runs later, I wanted the helm and, luckly, got it in the first boss. Nice! full void ark set!

I was equipping it when the raid locked me outside the 2nd area. Well, okay, I'll catch them later. And then I was waiting, but I my mom called me to do something for her and went AFK. I even wrote in chat, "brb".

I came back 1~2 minutes later, and they wore in the second boss. My Alliance votekicked me from the raid, with one of the healers calling me useless.

Still got the helm, worth it.

I've been doing a ton of runs in the Weeping City for weeks trying to get the yafaemi pants of fending. Monday alone I did three runs before finally looting something I didn't even want just to get a drop.

Yesterday I ran it in the morning, evening, and did a late night run just on the off chance I might get them. It was a rough in-progress run. They were at Forgall, 2nd boss, and there were two wipes right when I joined because C's tank kept pulling before the raid was ready. They dropped or were kicked, got a replacement, and we finally cleared.

Imagine my joy and astonishment when the fending pants dropped! I passed on the monk pants, needed on the fending pants, got the loot, rejoiced in FC chat, went to equip my new pants...

And I couldn't equip them. I'd looted the striking pants by mistake, in my haste, excitement, and extreme fatigue (I was up very late).

Was completely crushed but I stayed with the alliance through the end, even when we wiped at Ozma.

Was doing roulettes for the first time in about a month (post-relic grind for esos/poes and just taking a break to focus on crafting/gathering), and got ARF for my Lvl 60. Other DPS wasted LB on the trash pull before the second boss (which they were almost all dead because we were all extremely geared). We asked them why they would waste the LB on trash right before a boss, and this was their response:

"Because the LB resets before every boss."

Commence extreme head-desking. They argued with the entire party the rest of the run when we told them LBs don't reset in 4-mans. Just 24-mans. Response: "I've been running this dungeon all day, so I would know lol."

More head-desk.
Also, why would you run ARF multiple times when it gives such crappy rewards? Even the eso boost still isn't worth it. Not saying the dungeon is hard--just really long. :/

In all fairness, I'd rather see them used on mobs so the run goes quicker. Let's be honest, generally the other DPS will just waste it at .000001% of the boss's health anyway haha. Now if the trash mob was almost dead.... that's another story.

It's more effective to use LBs on trash anyway but there are places where it does reset when starting boss battles such as the lvl 50 MSQ roulette instances.

While they are wrong that LB doesn't reset before every boss, even if the mobs were mostly dead, I am confident that the aoe LB did more damage there then a single target on the boss. It's hardly a waste.
