    Great party last night!

So, I was playing my Marauder last night in a party. We formed with GLA, MRD, PUG, THM, CON, and whatever the abreviation is for archer. ARC? ARH?ACH? whatever. We were all 25-28, and went east of drybone to the beastman camp. There, the GLA would grab a mob, I'd grab the links, they'd burn down the first mob then move on to the ones I was holding. It went great, we got chain5 time after time, level 30-34 mobs, for about 5 hours.

So those who think partying is broken, you're just doing it wrong.

Nothing was broken in 1.19. People just can't adapt to change.

Glad to see a positive post for once.

Good for you! Partying is always the best part of MORPGs, but sadly, it's one of the most difficult for several reasons: different timezone, people too shy to ask, different languages, friends-guild only party, long time assembling one, etc. Even being in a random PUG is quite fun, but in the end, you have to put a little effort to be in one and trust me: it's really worth playing this game in a party. These last weeks I'm having a blast doing behests, wherever I find one and picking anyone who wants to tag along; sure it's only 5 or 10 minutes, but still lots of fun.

Congratz for playing the game and having fun. Hope you can make more!

I was in a great PT yesterday. R45-50, Beastman Stronghold near Broken Water, we camped in a corner of the second room and just slaughtered beastmen for hours. Great SP.

Now, if I could only figure out a way to see just how much I have left to go to get my Shield rank up... there's really no way to tell and there oughta be.

I was in two great parties today and I hated every minute of it. Spam spam spam spam spam. Buffs, cure, buffs, cure, nuke if you feel froggy, buffs, cure. Go play some other MMO? Probably will.

There were shouts for parties in uldah all yesterday, it was pretty nice, and for mostly all level ranges too. Most parties I join are random shouts, or 2-3 LS plus some shout people, but yesterday I guess a lot of people came back for 1.19, so there was an extra high population looking for a party.

Guessing you didn't play FFXI? What would you expect it to be? In a party, each person has a role. One person heals, one person tanks, a few people DD, someone enfeebles. How would it be different in any MMO? And this is the party style I hoped would come with enough people.

Unfortunately I did play FFXI for 5 years. I'm guessing that's the reason I dislike where this game is right now.

Yep, any MMO that isn't solo centric you have this kind of setup, XI is popularized because it's party synergy was a lot more defined as in other MMOs, debuffing generally came from item usage, i.e "Chipping" in some.
