Do you think women shouldn't go out alone, wear skirts or use makeup because "they're asking for it"

I don't think that anyone is asking for it, however as a woman I'm well aware that those to walk alone at night in mini skirts are more likely to be targets than those that dress normal in pure daylight. If you're a dude you wouldn't walk around at night alone in fear of getting murdered or robbed. Somehow some things just make sense as self preservation do they not?
