Move to China and let me know how special you are feeling when you realized half the crap we get is not even accessible with low pop servers since 2015.

What does Chinese censorship have to do with what is available to the JP/NA/EU/AU regions? Give the cloud a shade of grey, rename it, put it in the SE store or gold sauce and problem solved. Also, the Chinese region gets almost everything we have, they just modify the game to include most of the rewards in a different way, such as daily quests that give veteran rewards.

How about I stay in the NA and SE gives us at least one NA exclusive event/promo to even out the score board on exclusive events/promos? The NA/EU regions have had ZERO exclusive events.

NA/EU have had ZERO exclusives, absolutely none. We could not even redeem moogle earring codes, if I am not mistaken. The NA/EU regions will never get exclusive events, we are not important enough. SE knows that we support that cash shop and that's the only promo the company need to squeeze more money out of us.

It is because we dont get our own exclusive stuff that most of the people that are upset, are upset
Sure someone could say: "Yeah but China doesn't get some stuff because it is censored" but censorship isnt the point here. The reason we arent getting this items isnt because our government is censoring us or anything. We should at least get some stuff for our own that isnt just part of the game that China decided to remove from their version because of their government

The JP dev team made the items, at last that's what the concept art would tell me. They've shown off concept art for the region locked items at the live letters. That's my understanding at least.

I'm no expert in kanji... but I'd say that the characters on the second look a lot more Chinese than Japanese (complete lack of any hiragana/katakana, for example). I'd say the same for the first picture, too, especially based on the logo not looking anything like the JP ARR/HW logo. That logo is entirely with kanji (or whatever they're called in Chinese ^^; ), whereas the Japanese logo uses katakana to spell "Final Fantasy" (and also uses the English text, afaik). I don't think SE has any control over the exclusives that the Chinese and Korean versions of the game release for their versions. They are localized by other companies who bought the rights to market the game to their region. SE could talk to them about using their items but might even have to pay them to use content they designed.

Unfortunately we don't know the details of either agreements. However, when asked about the exlusive items YoshiP did ask the community to provide feedback, and, as a result of some of that feedback, we did get the Panda and Magpie minions in the Mogshop. That, to myself at least, shows there must be some kind of wiggle room.

Actually, that isn't true. The Amazon items were originally JP only and the developers have promised a similar EU event is coming to get them those items as well. Dev response about EU event here.

Just because the headers are chinese does not mean the artwork or items were made by a chinese team. There is no developement team outside of the JP one and all art and modeling for items are done by the in-house developers.

Compare these pieces:

The FFXIV dev team still designs/makes the promo items. It's not as separate as you might think. There is absolutely no excuse why they can't give us a variant with little to no effort invested.

Until you prove that China/Korea does not get those promo items ( and they usually do via daily quest rewards), the Summer DLC campaign is not an NA exclusive.
