Thanks for the link. Gonna read it in a bit, but to point out something first. I'm not saying what Summoner is now should be thrown to the side for an all new version. What I'd like to see is Summoner build up from where it is now to become a true Summoner, if that makes sense.

I don't mind it's debuffing abilities, but Summoner should feel like a Summoner and not just a debuffer.

Though lore says there is a limitation right now summoning new egi, that doesn't mean that won't change in the future. Lore can change after all, and I don't mean rewriting it either, but letting it progess/evolve over time to get rid of it's limits on summoning.

I also feel from what you told me about limits on egi summoning in your first post that FFXIV is hinting more egi summons will be appearing at some point later, but just not at this time due to lore limitations and maybe something else. So I'm hoping I'm right about that and we get more sometime later in the future. ^^
