Also just ran into this. I'm an IF who joined in-progress and wound up on Adder's team. Spawned in the IF landing, but all my blue dot allies were in the Adder Landing.

Interestingly, I could attack my IF "teammates" and heal my Adder "enemies". I didn't want to be a jerk, so I dropped out and wished Adder the best in getting an 8th.

This is not just with shatter too. I just encountered it in a 24 man secure. There was an extra member in flames, and one less member on adder. They were not in the flames party but I can assume they were in the adder party.

Its not even a rare bug I get it like 4-5 times a day even more stupid if a adder is in your flame party and you cant attack/heal him even if he looks like a enemy and cap ur base 24/7

I know that it's defintely a join in progress bug...what I'm starting to wonder/observe is that usually if the JIP spot is taken almost right away, it's a normal JIP.

If the JIP happens after the starting timer disappears, then chances are it's a glitched JIP.

I could be wrong though, needs more testing.

It's not hilarious when the adder on my (flame) team is sitting on the home base the entire game and we can't attack him off of it, leaving our party down two members instead of one since one has to stay behind to babysit the base.

I wonder if their win is tied with their GC still or if it's tied with the GC they get glitched into.
