    It's not supposed to be super common to make it to the 7th room. In fact, it's almost never supposed to happen.
    The main purpose was to give players a reason to make maps again!
    It clearly fails that purpose because frustration is too high!
    Reward from maps isnt that great any more and its here to adjust the reward to make it for higher iLvL still interesting...
    Square Enix does not try to fix the cause of the problem!

    You dont do maps because of the first floor reward or the second floor...
    Square Enix plays with players "hope" and wonders why it becomes "hatred"...

    Edit: No one asks for handing it over, stop trolling with that stupid argument.
    All we ask is to have a better system than that pure RNG (stacked) where you may NEVER see any portal if you are unlucky! (same with each floor door)

    I'm going to guess, that the people that are in here complaining about the RNG of the portal/doors, like always, are those that rather then gathering them over time from trees and rocks. You know for free. Are buying them from the market board at over inflated prices and now are frustrated cause of all that gil wasted with nothing to recoup that gil. I think that's it. It's nothing else. It's you know, "I just blew 1million gils for this...whaaaaaa."

    uhmm no, most of the people complain about a situation where you depend on RNG to enter the place, it doesnt matter if you have bought the map or not, the RNG Is not much in getting the map but rather in getting the portal out of the map. Since you can only get one map a day...you could go months, years without ever seeing a portal and ever be able to do Aquapolis. that is one f the reason I have 7maps sitting in my inventory(servants) and doubt I will ever do any of those. Frustration is good but not when it depends on a factor that you have no control over, in fact I could deal with 1 of them BUT not for each floors...is on many accounts wrong. You dont incentive players to do more maps this way, you give them a reason to complain again about RNG numbers and we all know that some are on the right side and others not. I see / hear already the word * leech* going around, parties limitating what you can or even IF you can get something while inside. I wonder when we are going to see people kicking others before reaching a given place to get the loot for themselves...( not sure the feature is allowed inside, if it is, we will see that happen in not such a long time)

    The idea is good but the implementation is wrong. Make things harder inside for people. Increase the number of maps per day you can get, but everyone should be able to enter, and try. There is no frustration if you fail, if you fail while inside it would be your doing as opposed to ..choosing the wrong door.

    Besides, keep in mind that some people CANT get a map other then buying it...I remind you that the map can only be obatain via gathering. If you do not have eany of your gatherers levelled, you get no maps and that too is not right. As I said, EVERYBODY should get that map but inside the difficulty should be high enough and maybe even adapted to the level (average) of the group, but is me

    There is nothing wrong with it as far as I am concerned. The chance of it spawning a portal is quite high, anyone can gather the maps by leveling a gatherer or they can buy them from the market board. The things gained from the portal run are an 'additional' reward on top of what the maps already gave in the past. Unlike housing plots or rare/event items, maps are infinite and despite only being able to gather one a day on a character...you can gain one every day if wanted or more than one a day if have more than one character.

    You still get the same things as normal from the map alone but now with added chance of more rewards which is not something to complain about regardless of whether reach final room of not. The value of the maps in the market board by proxy obviously have increased because there is a high chance of obtaining more from doing them which benefits gatherers too if do not want to use them. If do not want to buy them then level a gathering class, no-one is stopping you from doing so and it doesn't take long plus does not require a group to level one.

    If that's all there is to it, then they really should have saved themselves the problem of making the Aquapolis and just randomly slapped those rewards onto the chest instead. Same chance to get them, but a lot less coding and ressources involved, which could instead be used for something that is more than 'just' an additional reward.

    Not at all. It is a fun new feature included in the activity of doing maps to make it more exciting instead of just randomly giving you more things when open the map chest. I am sorry but the few people here complaining about this are not going to win this argument for the multitude of reasons I along with others have already given, they are barking up the wrong tree on this.

    Why do some people have such a hard time accepting that not everything is designed for them? Plenty of people enjoy Aquapolis as is, if you don't? Well, that's fine... I see no reason to change Aquapolis though, it's designed as a fun little RNG jaunt, if you want something similar but with progression based on skill rather than luck, guess what, that's what Palace of the Dead is!
