I probably "should" try to get used to shorter hairstyles anyways since they don't tend to clip that horribly with armors and weapons - but I've always liked long hairstyles more, and not fan of the ones Miqo'te currently has to offer as options.

Have you tried this one? I think it looks nice on miqo'tes and it's pretty long^^

Yeah, that's why I tend to use the shorter hairstyles, though there are longer hairstyles that I like. I think the one I'm using now is about as long as you can get without it looking like your hair is going through your armor or weapon too badly

Yeah - I actually used that during my first Miqo'te, before expansion release. But I main'd Paladin back then and it clipped with shield a lot, and ended up changing hairstyle.

I've been impatiently waiting since Patch 3.1 that Square would share this hairstyle from Au Ra to Miqo'te, as it doesn't really seem to have any flaws, but with every patch.. I'm just disappointed when I scroll to "New hairstyles have been added.", and most or all are short ones.

I took comparison screenshots of the two long hairstyles, SS1 and SS2. As you can see in SS1, hair is closer to back and thus avoids most of the clipping with weapons and shields, tho in return it clips with some collars. While in SS2, hair is further away from back and causes more clipping with weapons and shields, but in return avoids most of the clipping with collars. Both of them suffer from clipping with hoods.

Even the hairstyle I'm using atm clips with some of my fav gear (Kirimu coat, for example), been trying to ignore clipping as much as I can but it can be hard :c
Would be great if they made all hair available for all races, it's not nice to be stuck as one race because you just like the hairstyle so much.

Yeah my current hair clips the Machinist goggles when they are visored up off your eyes..it's one of the new ones from 3.2 I think (short one that covers the left eye when you face your character)
