In other words: the reward isn't worth the possible time investment for most people.
If people would actual play the game instead of playing "who's the biggest asshole?" the dungeon would be quick and enjoyable. That particular mechanic is easy, the fight should take no mor than 2-3 minutes if that. Good players play the game, what does that make those who won't run a dungeon, or play an unskippable mechanic?
