Personally, I'm wholly expecting a Nidhogg nerf. I haven't even done that yet, but if it's a MSQ wall with bad clear rates as people say, it'll be torn down sooner or later. No questions asked.

I am totally blind in one eye, and three times legally blind in the other. If I can manage to get a duty finder clear you can too. o_<

I think Ozma's mechanics are fine, the biggest problem with the fight at least from what I can see is that there is literally little "room" for error, we've had massive arenas for our 24p raids so far and it was usually easy to avoid/scatter when people failed mechanics. Ozma however doesnt have a big enough arena to avoid poorly placed mechanics so stuff like meteors, laser, orbs, heck even the bleed thing ends up causing wipes cause its hard to get away from those not so quick players.

But a Savage version for the 24man raids would be interesting

How many can remember the first week of CT1 and how many wipes were there? And it got not nerfed, only overgeared with each patch

Losing all the players that refuse to get better could actually harm the game though from a business perspective. Difficulty can lead to a lot of people who are casual players to unsubbing from the game completely damaging SEs profits to help make more/ better content.

Just because a player is casual doesn't mean they are bad. They might need to wait a bit longer for the baddies to unsub, but they can beat it. I don't think that many casual players will unsub after a week or 2 lol.

Everything gets nerfed eventually, whether directly or indirectly, and this patch's content will be no different.

Sadly, regardless of how many of us feel and appreciate the effort they put into making a fun Raid, the "They better nerf Wiping City!" crybabies are going to win in the end. No one wants to communicate in an MMO, and they want all the rewards handed to them for the least amount of effort possible.

People will retort that they're awesome and "23 other players were so bad" that it requires some kind of hand-holding since they don't want to try. For some reason, people can't handle dying in a dungeon. They cry for nerfs instead. I say leave it. If you want to upgrade your Lore gear, then just do Heavensward Hunts. It's actually infinite and faster and they can just roll over them. So yeah, if you can't handle something moderately, and I mean moderately because none of the mechanics in Mhachi are new since we've seen all of them for at least a year, then by all means avoid the content. Much like Savage, we know certain things aren't for everybody.
