Issue is, the duty finder is ridden with people who :
1) don't listen to instructions,
2) leave after a wipe to be replaced with other players who don't listen to instructions,
3) trolls who don't give a damn about the strategy and only stand there trying to DPS as much as they can (even though it makes the group wipe),
4) spam the "abandon duty" functionnality, and sometimes people say yes.
For all these reasons, I ve yet to pass Ozma, which is starting to become very frustrating as the fight is very easy but obviously overtuned in regard to the mental capacity of the average FFXIV player.
SE should remove the completion timer for that duty, as it is too short in regard to the amount of time required to clean the duty with the average mhach city group.

There is literally no reason to nerf it, it becomes so easy once you learn all the mechanics.
Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.
I agree, content is scaled for a reason.
I'm sure the devs will keep an eye on their raid metrics, to ensure their intended percentage of population will get through these.
Mind you, they could always create a Weeping City Nightmare mode![]()

I'll join the chorus too. Don't nerf Weeping City. The level of difficulty is just right. If one doesn't clear it on the first try, what do you do? Try again, learn from the experience, communicate with others what you know and most important: have patience!
TBH not even sure why this is an issue right now. For all the people asking for nerfs and for all those impatient "git gud" people who complain remember this content is literally 2 days old. People are forgetting how bad WoD was the first week.

i went in with a premade 8 man party que and we managed to clear the raid one shot with only 1 wipe. i didnt find the mechanics that difficult, and i honestly dont play that much anymore. i do see that if you have pplz just ignoring mechanics its extremely easy to wipe the group.

While I agree with all the praises about leaving mhach untouched in any changes in difficulty, I will be the one to play the devil's advocate:
From my expierences of spamming mhach the past 2 days, the only thing I would say that could need a small tweak is the meteor range. This observation is from the fact that the average player will panic for markers like the meteors about 65% of the time. To compensate for this, I do believe that a 2-4 yalms should be removed from meteors to make it a little less unforgiving. Ozma is the biggest domino effect in the game, so I believe this small change is warrented. For Ozma, it only takes 1 mistake and then you have a 95% chance of a wipe. If my number crunching is right(it probably isn't), then this change would take that 95% down to 55% making it more manageable for everyone.
On the first day, the first attempt I had with a PUG ended at Ozmo. I went back in right after and we cleared the place with around 2 wipes per boss. Last night I did it again with another PUG and we cleared the entire thing with one wipe(and it wasn't on Ozmo).
The dungeon is fine. It is actually really really easy so long as people pay even a small amount of attention.
