May of been inactive for a year which is because I moved to Japan. Had to sort my life out. Get a full time job. I'm 31 not a student I do not live at home with perants. I'm not at uni studying. I'm an English teacher in Japan in an elementary school. But before I became inactive I had saved 457,679 Gill. That seems kind of insulting, are you implying anyone that spends time on the game and has their crafts leveled and has a lot of gil are just students or people that live with their parents?

It is insulting. I have a full time job that I've been at for 10 years, live in my own home, have family and friends and still have all my crafters and miner/botanist at 60. I went from never having much gil to saving up 7.5 million before the patch hit. I actually spent 4,250,000 on my plot (on one that opened up the day before the servers went down) to avoid the Black Friday that I knew would happen (and it did).

What is interesting to me is this poster is an English teacher, but cannot seem to write proper sentences.

Yes I am a English Teacher, I also have dyslexia.
I've worked very hard to get to where I am thank you very much.
Like I stated in another post. If you are offened again I am truly sorry. You have completely miss read where I am coming from. You are also reading to hard into what I had said. In that post I was trying to explan where I am coming from. I was not trying to offend anyone in my post.

Well, then you surely know the value of working hard for something, right? Those of us that earned the gil to buy a house did so by working hard for it (minus the small miniority of people who buy gil). Like many others have in the past and I am sure many others will do in future, I was venting.

In my honest opinion I do not think personal houses which are small should be bought. I believe they should be for free.
This would make it avaliable for everyone who wants a house to be to have one. This is just my own opinion.

Jokes aside, the easiest way to make money is to level up your retainers and send them on Ventures. Watch the market board, be diligent with your listings, and you could make 100k+ a day easily.
