Quick question, has anyone tried to dye it any color other than red by substituting a new dye into the recipe? I'm just curious about the restrictions of our new dye system. If you can only dye it red that kind of sucks though. I mean it's not the end of the world but I hope they put in the other color variations later if that's the case.

nope, only red works.

Personally I really don't like this, way to make all-purpose dyes not all-purpose, and to give multiple colors yet make it so everyone will get the same color anyway

Well my hope is that since the groundwork is here for a wide variety of colors on all gear, they'll put in more color variants for all gear as time goes on until all gear has all color variants.
