Dev team needs to stop making FCs share housing units with individual players. It's so obviously a broken system. A lot of players in FCs are buying houses purely to resell them to other players.

Hearing all the drama, I've never been happier worn decision to not want a house. Although, I am hoping my FC friend whom I lent gil to managed to get his.

There is content which can only be accessed with a FC house, so your statement that you are happier without a house is kinda moot.

It's not about being happy. It's about accessing content.

All of the Smalls in Carbuncle were gone in under 5 minutes.
There were a couple M and L left after 15 minutes in.

But I haven't seen anyone selling any houses in Party Finder at all. And not one shout either.

I'm in an FC that has a large house. I don't need a personal house as I can do anything I want or need to do with the FC house.

Yep I checked the plot that I wanted and in every new ward it was private owner except one. What a private owner needs with a medium or large house is beyond my other than bragging rights. My FC which I ranked to 6 by myself so I could get a house is going to remain small and houseless because of a greed on the part of the player base and incompetence on the part of SE.

this I can see as not having for example 3 gardens or stuff like that. One small has only one garden and is not right. What you put in your garden should be entirely up to you whether you want 10 or 1. Also as system is today you can share a house wiht someone else, maybe each want their own spot when they ar tired of each other. That is not really a bit problem to me. What is is people buying 10 houses and selling them right away for 10x the value and this is perfectly ok with SE. Cant blame the buyers either since they can do it...but still is absurdly stupidly absurd.

The number of houses being resold is minimal, just because you saw a PF for one or two houses out of 720 doesn't mean this is the cause.

You have to accept that both the community and SE screwed up by overstacking Balmung and Gilgamesh, and yes the community gets a big part of the blame, people keep endlessly recommending others to go to Balmung or Gilgamesh, and SE for some reason doesn't restrict transfers into those stacked servers.

No matter how many wards they add, if they don't put a hard stop into the population growth of those servers you will never see this issue even close to be solved.

At the very least SE should offer free transfers out of Balmung and Gilgamesh.

I'm really tired of the attitude that individual players don't "deserve" personal housing over FCs. Considering the amount of like sub-10 member FCs I see that also own homes, why don't we rag on them, too? Or how about we start targeting FCs that don't have enough players with rank 10 chocobos to level? I mean, after all, that FC with noob chocos is WITHHOLDING CONTENT from people who might actually use it, y'know? If your FC house ever has an empty garden, think about the poor house less FCs who might get use out of your house! Why don't you relinquish it to them?

Quit being salty at other players for gaining access to a feature that you desire, and START BEING SALTY AT SE for not making sure there was enough of this feature to go around to begin with. BF and I scrimped and saved to earn that 80 million for our large house...don't you dare tell us we don't "deserve" it.

(Sorry for soapbox, but this attitude is prevalent in so many of these housing threads that it really gets old after a while.)

I wouldn't have a problem if all the primal rare items were ingredients to make interior/exterior furnishings, they've been giving a lot of incentives and encouraging people to get into housing in a million ways, but most people are walled to even have one and try their features. Why invest so many resources in a system that 2 out of 10 players can have access? And let's get real, most people do not have access to anything despite belonging to a FC, most FCs won't allow you to use airships, gardening or move the furniture however you please.
No matter from which angle you look at it, it's messed up.
