So...since I'm a bit of a newb on this whole, logging on right as the server comes back from maintenance....I have my launcher up right now, which states "game is unavailable for play during maintenance". Will that refresh automatically once the servers are up, or am I better of closing and then reopening the launcher periodically to refresh it?

On a more serious note though, I think clicking the world button on the bottom left refreshes it, so when they do go up the button should come up? Not 100% sure though.

No you have to relaunch the launcher, why people won't give you a real answer I just don't know

Every time I get the error that the server is experiencing high traffic loads on the world status page I try to log in from the launcher. You know. Just in case.

Also if this pc triggers a windows update right at 3 and delays me I just might smash it.

havent been able to load lodestone for 15mins almost :P guess the spams looking for the green light is happening there aswell lol
