    Anyone having pre-download issues? I keep getting an error message when trying to log into the launcher to start the patch download...

    Check your FFXIV_BOOT.cfg file(open it up in notepad), make sure your "BootVersionCheckMode" is set to 1 and save . It'll force your client to update the launcher.
