and just seen on the FF portal on my tablet, that FFXII zodiac Age HD remaster is coming out for the ps4, so we might just gett a cross over event, why? because i am the leading man of course, really cant wait to play it again. what are the chances lol

I felt they got better in the DS title that took place on the sky continent. In the original game they were kind of stand ins.

Not really a fan of Vaan but I'd loooooooove to see Penelo's outfit arrive in a crossover. And Balthier. We could rock those outfits!

I don't think so. Lightning isn't "forced" at all. It makes way more sense to be her instead of Vanille and Fang, as well as it makes more sense to be Snow instead of Hope or Sazh. They both appear on all trilogy, they are both the first playable characters on the first game and both have outfits that work well regardless of your race of choice. I can see the same happening with Ashe (Not Fran, don't force me to see a Lalafell wearing this kind of clothes, please, that's... wrong.) and Balthier. Even the Vaan outfit isn't that awful, but I think Ashe and Balthier can bring more to the table when it comes to separated pieces for mix and match glamours.

But if that's the case, and if they follow the same path as they did with the Lightning event, I'm sorry ladies but no Balthier outfit for you. Either we get only the Balthier outfit for both sexes and nothing else, or we get two separated gender-locked ones to keep the balance. Otherwise it'll be quite unfair (like most gender gear is in this game), where females can equip two sets while males can have access to only one.

I still would prefer some more original events, but Im not opposed to this so long as it keeps it in the final fantasy franchise...

Thank you thank thank you! My favorite Final Fantasy of all time. Event or not FFXIV and FFXII are mirror images of each other more than any FF.
