wait you mean you can't wear gear 40 levels over your level and get bonus'?!?! BLASPHEMY! Ugh how does every MMO get by? IT MAKES IT TO HARD FOR TEH NOOBS! geezus some of you people make me laugh.. amazing change.. now gear is worthwhile from 1-50.
