In short terms, for crafters at least:
    - There's a new omni-class i170 set available to be crafted (probably meldable, but no real reason to unless we are drowning in grade IV) - Mostly a catchup set made for people who just got to 60. It should be quite easy to craft, but the demand should be high... so the prices will fluctuate a lot depending on short term availability.
    - There's a new omni-class i190 set available to be crafted (meldable) - New BiS gear if fully melded.
    - The old Red Scrip i180 gear can be purchased with Blue Scrips (2 times less Blue Scrips required than what it used to cost in Red Scrips). Counterfoil still needed.
    - The old Red Scrip i180 gear can be upgraded to i200 by purchasing the new Goblin Cup/Dice "token" (50 Red Scrips per token like before). Tool cost x13 token, Body x9, Head/Hands x5, Legs/Feet x4.
    - Available thursday 9th (maybe some receipes will be available tomorrow tho').

    Is this correct?

If that's so, I'm quite pleased about the i170 carbon stuff. For a newbie crafter like me it's quite a nice catch up set that I'll be able to use for my non specialiast classes, while my specialists will be using the old red scrip that I'll upgrade to i200.
Not nearly as bad as I first thought.

    Honestly no
I have enough sla... friend to help me with the luminous fiber XD
I will gather and ask nq fiber, i expect craft to be doable even with nq fiber if the other eikon is HQ

    @Fyce
Yeah the carbone look real good to up all non spec Crafter class
But the augmented red script will still be trash

You can put as much sugar as you want on a trash... it won't make it good ilevel is nothing in craft while CP are golden
So non meldable stuff with no additionnal CP is a no

I hate that thursday crap, it ok for reset of scrips but for actual content from a patch why do crafters have to wait 2 days longer then people playing other content.

    I'd say you're entirely correct.

    I would add:
    - The ilvl 170 set needs "Carbon Fiber" (50 Blue Scrips) and other easy stuff
    - The ilvl 190 set needs "Luminous Fiber" from Alchemist (probably specialist as Hanmerreborn mentioned). Luminous Fiber needs "Glass Fiber", which could be a daily restricted item from the Moogle beast tribe. The rest of the mats are easily accessible three star mats.
    - Ilvl 195 Tools --> same as ilvl 190 set

Because I have 500 red scrips capped. But I have not yet used up my 450 cap of the week. A tuesday release would mean I'd have 1400 red scrips by thursday instead of "only" 950.

The thing to remember is, it is actually worth making and melding the Carbonweave i170 gear, as it'll ensure you have 3* on all your crafting classes, thus making the Eikon crafts much easier to acheive. Assuming (until we know otherwise) that they'll have the same stats and meld caps as the existing i170 gear, and using i180 tools (no point crafting/melding those on non-specialist crafters), that should give you 891/850/414 without food (and only using the now massively easy to acquire Tier IV materias). That's more than enough with even cheap cp food (and with the 1>3 buff on Seafood Stew anyway).

In fact scrap that: Assuming it's the same as i170 gear is now, WITHOUT overmelds it'll hit 850/820 so enough for 3*. http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/UBD8 < That's based on my current accessory melds and using Bouillabaisse to get above the Rath's Rotation CP cap and In Control II, you can substitute that out by 3 control overmelds...

I have to see how easy/hard the stuff is to acquire materials for, and what is locked behind Specialist Blockers. I may decide to upgrade my i180 MH to the new i200 MH, or I may just craft all new stuff (or craft what I can and buy/trade what I can for what I cannot).

The new Carbonweave gear looks ridiculously easy to make, a few diadem mats, and the new blue scrip mats (Carbon Fibre).

Mats for the whole Carbonweave Set of Crafting is:
6 Carbon Fibres (300 Blue Scrips), 5 Cloud Cloths, 2 Earth Clusters, 8 Lightning Clusters, 3 Pterodactyl Leathers, 2 Rubbers, 11 Sewing Threads, 4 Titanium Alloy Ingots, 2 Titanium Ingots, and 10 Wind Clusters.
+ 10 Craftsman's Control IV Materias (easily obtainable from Ixali and leftover Rowena's Token (Red Crafter's Scrips)).

I'm guessing that the i190 stuff won't be immediately accessible on June 9 because the Luminous Fiber requires items not accessible anywhere as of 3.2. Like was mentioned I'm guessing it's Moogle Tribe, which means every crafter will be there crafting away.

Is it also safe to say that the new i170 is directly equivalent to the old i17 set? Because if so it'll make the old i170 completely obsolete since the new set is easier to make and is universal, if you don't have the old sets yet like me.

It's probably best not to jump the gun on the i170 stuff because if you can't source the materials yourself, prices will probably skyrocket for the first week.

Personally due to my shit luck at HQ crafting RNG I'll probably just pay someone to make the i170 HQ gear for me.

That's showing 839 Craftsmanship, 810 Control, 449 CP (with Bouillabaisse). In Control II brings you up to the 820 Control needed, but aren't you still 11 Craftsmanship short of the 3-star requirements?

Even switching to Seafood Stew and Eat from the Hand II only brings you to 849/841/456, so you're still 1 Craftsmanship short.

Obviously it's not a huge deal to overmeld 1-2 more materia, but I can't see a way to do it without any overmelds using only IV materia. You can also switch to Seafood Stew and use the now-easy-to-acquire i180 body to reach 853/838/456 without either FC buff.

Absolutely, I had a blonde moment, use Baked Onion Soup there rather than Bouillabaisse and that'll push you over the craftsmanship cap (but saved it before I made that change). Sorry.

    http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/UBDD Reflects that change.
