Actually, the maths comes out to 8% less damage, not 5%, because I'm fairly certain that the damage penalties and bonuses are multiplicative, not additive.

DRK seems to be by far the hardest to heal especially if they are bad but we all know that the worst our there is the tank that refuses to use CDs

Me: Tank use CDs
Tank: Why?! You always heal me back fully
Me: ... Go to hell maybe I shouldn't until you pop up CDs...

ok heres my big question. Tanks ae hard to heal "what are you healing as?" if I"m healing a war and i know it i usualy go sch for added midigation to the huge health pool. i im healing a pld i go whm or added dps and they can midigate them selves and drks ill go with what ever know the strengths and weaknesses of the tanks and healers. and some of the healers just need to learn the jobs better

Which healing class for which tank is pretty irrelevant now. Any combination worksok heres my big question. But yes, there are as many healers out there as there are tanks that need to learn how to use their abilities. Did ex rou as a PLD and got a WHM who didnt use assylum, assize, Tetragrammanton, or regen. These are equally as bad as tanks who dont use cooldowns.

I've always kind of preferred the opposite. SCH for PLD as they have more defensive options to allow me to stay in Cleric, and WHM for WAR because their Defiance works with WHMs more potent heals. It has no effect on Lustrate. However this was more relevant back in 2.x, you hardly see a WAR in Defiance these days.
Staying on topic though, with good tanks they all seem pretty similar. However at the start of 3.0 it was definitely DRK. I feel like a lot of non-tanks who had no clue were drawn to that job just because it had the 'cool' factor.
I love it when I get a paladin in my group.Because that means I get to stay in cleric stancs longer haha.I find DRK and WAR a little squishy for my taste.Especially DRK.

I have to say DRK. There seems to be more inexperienced DRK than any other tank class. Warrior has been around for a lot longer time and have more reliable, experienced players dedicated to it but they still seem to require more actual healing from me in most content. Easiest to heal would have to be Paladin. They take less damage and usually require less actual healing. Especially now with Clemency. I love seeing a paladin that has no problem using it. I'll take a PLD MT and a WAR/DRK OT setup every time.

Everyone seams to be saying DRK, and I agree. I think it boils down to who's sitting at the keyboard though. I've had more DRK's that have required constant heal spams than any other job. At the same time, I've had PLD and WAR players that have been just as tough to heal and DRK's that have tanked smooth as butter.
