Considering the new dungeons are i200 to enter, they should drop i215 gear. The Weeping City of Mhach, the new 24 man raid, will drop i230 gear.

Apart from the obvious fact that lore gear can be upgraded to ilvl240.Even if the new void ark gear is ilvl230 you can guarantee it won't have materia slots.

I'm not sure about that, I think all gear from now onwards will have some materia slots. But advanced melding will be prohibited, just like Lore and Midas gear.

To answer the first post, Allagan Tomestones of Lore remains the highest battle currency as of this patch, and our new gear options from dungeons, crafting and weeping city will not be more powerful, so upgraded IL 240 Lore pieces are still relevant for endgame for a few more months.
